The range of electrically driven actuators with gearing is based on a DC disc motor, which has been combined with a gear mechanism. These actuators provide a nominal torque of 4 Nm to 180 Nm and a control angle of 36° or 42°. They are used in medium-sized and large diesel and gas engines, as well as gas and steam turbines. The actuators can be combined with various analogue or digital HEINZMANN governors and provide contactless position feedback.
These actuators are mainly used in industrial engines. They are driven by analogue or digital HEINZMANN governors or by the JANUS positioning module.
